Golden Mark Corp, doing business as Markcorp (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operates the RentReady property inspection application located at and the marketing website at (collectively, the “Service” ). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create a RentReady account, we collect:
Full name
Email address
Password (stored in hashed form; we never store plaintext passwords)
Subscription plan and billing status

1.2 Property and Inspection Data

When you use the Service to conduct property inspections, we collect and store:
Property addresses and details you enter
Room names, descriptions, and condition ratings
Inspection notes (including those created via voice-to-text dictation)
Photographs uploaded during inspections
Digital signatures captured on inspection reports
Inspection dates, timestamps, and completion status

1.3 Voice Data

RentReady offers a voice-to-text feature that uses your device’s built-in speech recognition (Web Speech API in Chrome and Safari). Voice audio is processed locally by your browser and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Only the resulting text transcription is saved as part of your inspection data.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect:
IP address
Browser type and version
Device type and operating system
Pages visited and time spent on the Service
Referring URL

1.5 Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan (Pro or Enterprise), payment is processed through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive and store only a transaction identifier, subscription status, and plan type.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:
Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Create and manage your account
Store and organize your property inspection data
Generate inspection reports (including PDF reports)
Process subscription payments and manage billing
Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts)
Respond to customer support inquiries
Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers. We use third-party vendors to help operate the Service, including hosting providers (Rocket.net), payment processors (Stripe), and content delivery networks (Cloudflare). These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on the Service before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
With Your Consent. We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers managed by Rocket.net with Cloudflare CDN. We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit
Hashed passwords using industry-standard algorithms
Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
Regular security reviews of application code
Uploaded photographs are stored on our hosting infrastructure and are accessible only through authenticated sessions tied to your account.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and inspection data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements).
Inspection photographs and reports will be deleted along with your account data unless you have exported them prior to account deletion.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Export: Request a portable copy of your inspection data.

7. Children’s Privacy
